A review of Just Another Day at the Office by Diego Kontarovsky
Just Another Day at the Office is a rip-roarious comedy about James Dastoli leaving a quiet office and getting into a car that explodes. Knowing about the explosion ruins the entire movie. Unfortunately, they talk about it all over the page you click on to go to the movie download page. So I give a good review to the movie, and a bad review to the page.
Here is what the Dastolis have to say about Just Another Day at the Office:
JAMES:
"We weren't even counting it as a movie. It was just a camera test. It didn't even have a poster. That's a shame because it's the only Dastoli Digital film to ever not have a poster."
ROBERT:
"Just Another Day at the Office was literally just a camera test. It was a camera test combined with an effects test that we had done less than a month prior. That's something that never happened before and will probably never happen again."
What pisses me off about James and Robert is that they acknowledge the missing poster, but they will never make one. This is not because they are lazy. They could make a mind-blowing poster in 15 minutes. They simply feel it is important to preserve the purity of their work, which is why they will not go back and fix effects, polish edits, or even tinker with the websites. They have been burned by George Lucas and it has made them into the men they are today. I suppose I support this attitude, although I am the President of the GO BACK AND SHOOT A LIGHTSABER DUEL FOR THE ENDING OF CROSSING OF FATE AND JUST CALL IT CROSSING OF FATE SPECIAL EDITION BECAUSE IT WOULD LOOK AWESOME, YOU WOULD FINALLY GET TO MAKE THE LIGHTSABER DUEL YOU NEVER GOT TO MAKE, AND IT WOULD EVEN COUNT AS AN HOMAGE TO THE REAL GEORGE LUCAS Club.
