All Sam Cain needs to get out of this business is to deliver a package to a guy named Cobby. There's a problem: Cobby's dead. Instead he finds the sultry Verna Evans who leads him to a shady deal-maker with a few trigger happy thugs. Sam's only chance at a square deal is to team up with the femme fatale and head into a trap at the top of an old lighthouse.
